How to Use
Ranitidine comes as a effervescent tablet form, and a syrup for
oral intake. It is taken once a day before bedtime or 2 to 4 times a
day. Ranitidine sold over-the-counter comes in tablet for taken by
mouth usually taken once or twice a day. For preventing symptoms, it
is taken about an hour before intake of foods. Follow label
directions carefully, and consult doctor or pharmacist for
explanation. Dissolve the Ranitidine effervescent tablets and the
granules in glass of water before drinking it.
Do not consume over-the-counter ranitidine for longer durations
than two weeks unless prescribed otherwise by your doctor. If
symptoms persist, stop medication and consult your doctor.

to the doctor

Precautions
Before taking ranitidine:
- Inform your doctor and pharmacist about any allergies to
Ranitidine or other medications.
- Inform your doctor and pharmacist about the consumption of
any other medications, dietary supplements, herbal supplements
etc. for avoiding possible side-effects
- Inform your doctor about your medical history especially the
existence of any diseases such as phenylketonuria, porphyria, or
kidney & liver disease.
- Consult your doctor about any existing pregnancy, or planned
ones. If pregnancy occurs during the medication period, consult
your doctor immediately.
Over Dose
If a patient overdoses on Ranitidine, inform the doctor, or
emergency services immediately
Missed Dose
Consume the missed dose unless the next dosage is scheduled to
happen in a short period. In such a case, continue wit your regular
dosing schedule. Do not consume double doses in order to make up for
missed ones.
Storage
Keep in a tightly shut container at room temperatures, out of the
reach of chiildren as well as heat and moisture.
