Ferrous Sulfate and Folic Acid Tablet is used to treat and control Anemia based on nutritional origin, control megaloblastic Anemia, manage anemia due to pregnancy, and manage poor absorption of food. Potential side effects can range from Allergic reactions, Anorexia, Nausea, Abdominal distention, Flatulence, Bitter or bad taste

Some health conditions may be more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. 

Before consuming folic acid tablets it's needed to be mindful that administration of folic acid alone is improper therapy for pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias in which vitamin B12 is deficient. It's also required to avoid alcohol consumption, especially if having alcoholic cirrhosis. Breastfeeding women need to check with their general physician before taking medication. 

Drug Interactions occur in the cases of Alcohol consumption, Barbiturates, Diphenylhydantoin, Methotrexate, Nitrofurantoin, Phenytoin.

While taking this combination, special precautions are needed when there is bronchial asthma, renal disorders, bleeding disorders, Cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, patients on anticoagulants, aspirin induced allergy, pregnancy and Lactation.

Potential side effects of Ibuprofen combined with paracetamol include Dyspepsia, heartburn, Gastrointestinal bleeding, rash, asthmatic attacks, thrombocytopenia, drug induced ulcer, drowsiness, hepatic necrosis, renal papillary necrosis, vision disturbances; disorientation. In some rare cases nausea and vomiting can occur. Hematemesis, agranulocytosis, and severe allergic reaction are potentially fatal side effects.

If ibuprofen and paracetamol is taken along with Furosemide, Thiazides, Pethidine and Propanthelene it reduces the effectiveness of paracetamol absorption.

Other medications taken together along with this combination can increase the risk of Gastrointestinal bleeding. Anticoagulants can cause bleeding and can get potentially fatal

Cytromox- Co-Trimoxazole oral suspension

It is used to treat Susceptible infections, Urinary tract infections, Gastrointestinal infections, Respiratory tract infections, Pneumocystis, Prophylaxis of susceptible infections in AIDS patients. 

Adverse drug reactions caused by consuming co-trimoxazole can include Renal failure, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, anorexia, skin rashes, urticarial.

Potentially fatal reactions may include Stevens – Johnson syndrome, agranulocytosis, toxic epidermal necrolysis, hepatic necrosis.

co-trimoxazole should not be used by lactating women, with patients with B12 and folic acid deficiency, should not be given with anticonvulsant medicine.

Nystatin oral suspension is used for the prevention and treatment of candida infections of the oral cavity, oesophagus and intestinal tract. It provides effective prophylaxis against oral candidosis in those born of mothers with vaginal candidosis. This medication is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth. Nystatin is an antifungal that works by stopping the growth of fungus.

Nystatin is a polyene antifungal antibiotic active against a wide range of yeasts and

yeast-like fungi, including Candida albicans. The side effects may cause nausea and diarrhoea after oral administration. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: Rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. Check with your general physician regarding any allergies and pre existing conditions and administer Nystatin as per prescription. 

It is used as a specific inhibitor of the acid pump in the parietal cell. It rapidly acts and provides control through reversible inhibition of gastric acid secretion with once daily dosing.

In patients with severe impaired hepatic function, liver enzyme values should be

checked periodically during treatment with omeprazole.

During combination treatment caution should also be exercised in patients with severe renal and hepatic dysfunction.

There have been reports of blindness and deafness with the use of the injection.. Patients with auditory and visual illnesses should check with their doctor before getting started on the Omeprazole injection.

Precautions: In patients with peptic ulcer disease Helicobacter pylori-status should be determined if relevant. In patients who are shown to be Helicobacter pylori-positive, the elimination of the bacterium by eradication therapy should be aimed wherever possible.

In the presence of any symptoms (e.g. significant unintentional weight loss, recurrent vomiting, dysphagia haematemesis or melaena) and when gastric ulcer is suspected, the possibility of malignancy must be excluded before treatment with omeprazole is instituted, as treatment may alleviate symptoms and delay diagnosis.

The diagnosis of reflux oesophagitis should be confirmed endoscopically.

Decreased gastric acidity, due to any means including proton-pump inhibitors, increases gastric counts of bacteria normally present in the gastro-intestinal tract. Treatment with acid reducing medicinal products leads to a slightly increased risk of gastrointestinal

infections, such as Salmonella and Campylobacter.

Adverse Effects: Some of the most frequent side effects of omeprazole are Headache, Diarrhoea, Abdominal pain, Nausea, Dizziness, Rash, Itching (pruritis), fever or sore throat, blistering, peeling or loosening of the skin, Skin rash and itching.

Less serious side effects of omeprazole may include fever, cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat; stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or headache.

Contraindications: It should not be use in patients suffering from Atrophic Gastritis, Interstitial Nephritis, Clostridium difficile colitis, Osteoporosis, Broken Bone, Inadequate Vitamin B12, Low Amount of magnesium in the blood

Side Effects: Infection: Stomach Acid plays a role in killing bacteria. Use of

Pantoprazole may increase the chance of developing infections such as pneumonia, particularly in hospitalized patients. Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Flatulence, vomiting, Headache, Dizziness, Arthralgia, Constipation, Dry mouth, Low WBC count, thrombocytopenia.

Drug Interaction: Medicines such as ketoconazole, itraconazole and posaconazole (usedbto treat fungal infections) or erlotinib (used for certain types of cancer) cannot be used along with pantoprazole because

pantoprazole may stop these and other medicines from working properly. Warfarin and phenprocoumon, Which affect the thickness, or thining of blood may not be effective if used along with pantoprazole. 

Pantoprazole can also interfere with functioning of medicines used to treat HIV-infection such as atazanavir, Methotrexate (used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and cancer). If you are taking methotrexate your doctor may temporarily stop your pantoprazole treatment because pantoprazole can increase the level of methotrexate in the blood.
